This winter froze the bay solid. For more than three weeks, we sold zero oysters. Our boat was locked in ice. Shifting sheets damaged our engine, cages, and buoys. More than 30% of our crop was compromised by the freeze. The impact- tens of thousands of dollars in equipment damage and lost seed- came on top of weeks without revenue. And now, just as we hoped for a break, another two feet of snow has fallen, keeping the farm locked in winter.
We are ready. Ready to rebuild cages, replace gear, repair systems, and re-seed the moment the water opens. Not simply to recover, but to strengthen the foundation of Little Ram for what comes next.
